Abstract: Seizure disorders are common at all ages and require novel therapeutic approaches for containment. In this talk, Dr. Eyo will share some of his findings showing that microglia exhibit neuro-beneficial roles in several experimental seizure models and suggest that targeting microglia could be a novel strategy for alleviating detrimental symptoms in seizure disorders.
